To kickstart the 2020 Marriott Ballito Beats music series, we’re bringing one of the greats to your very backyard: Multi-award winning rock band, Prime Circle, are ready to rock you this summer as part of their national LIVE SUMMER TOUR!
Since their debut in 2002, Prime Circle have been one of the most celebrated rock acts in South African history. Having toured extensively, performed at major international festivals in the past 17 years, been awarded a handful of prestigious South African music awards and celebrated chart-topping hits… they’re coming to Ballito!
As part of their 4-month Live Summer Tour, which started in December last year, the 5-man band are making their way along the coast, spoiling fans with live performances of all their classic hits. “This tour is a combination of hits from all our albums but louder and more explosive, we can’t wait to see you on the road” says lead vocalist Ross Learmonth.
Bringing fun, entertainment and outdoor family-time to an already community-based lifestyle in Ballito, locals can once again look forward to an afternoon of fun at the first of the Marriott Ballito Beats concerts for 2020. Great music, good company and delicious food and beverages on offer, not to mention a host of activities for the little ones at Sugar Rush Park venue.
Opening the day will be local band trio Bradley Grey Band, for their second performance at the series. With a debut album gaining swift momentum with fans new and old, the band is made up of songwriter, pianist and lead vocalist Bradley Grey, and brothers Ryan and Barry De Beer on bass and drums, respectively. A selection of self-penned songs showcases the band’s musical and instrumental talents and their passion to reignite hope for the SA Rock scene with their on-stage passion for making music that people love.
The Prime Circle concert will take place on the afternoon of Sunday the 8th of March. Gates open at 13h00, with music starting at 13h30. Tickets range from R140 for adults, R80 for children between 6 and 12, and R20 for children under 6. Chairs and picnic blankets are welcome, as well as your fully stocked picnic baskets.
